It all started with a simple idea: to create a high-quality, useful, durable, and eco-friendly product. A motorcycle mat.
At the same time, the F.I.M. regulation was introduced in France, and demand for environmental mats began to grow. By observing the market, Charles and Martin noticed that riders dreamed of customizing their mats, but the options available were disappointing, made from fragile materials with low-quality printing that didn’t meet expectations. The Sixten adventure was just beginning.
The two childhood friends embarked on a real mission: to design an environmental mat that was durable, resistant, and stylish, entirely made in Europe. They quickly realized that motorcycles weren’t the only discipline concerned.
They began developing mats for other sports as well: SSV, jet-ski, karting… The first Sixten mats came to life in the Landes region during the first lockdown in March 2020.
This was followed by rigorous absorption tests until they finally obtained F.I.M. (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) approval, a key milestone.
That’s when the very first Sixten environmental mat was born !
